Aeroplane Model - De Havilland DH106 Comet I, BOAC Reg. No: ST 023590
- Sectioned 1:48 scale model of a Comet 1 was donated to the Museum by BOAC in July 1953. It was apparently a model commissioned by the airline for publicity and promotional purposes.
- Wood and plastic model aeroplane painted silver, blue and white with sectioned body and wings cut short. Inside the aeroplane the cockpit, galley and passenger seating areas can be seen.
