'OCTO' gas driving lamp manufactured by Dietz, New York, USA, circa 1908. It was used for lighting by horse-drawn and motor vehicles.
Gas operated driving lamp with metal body painted black and two glass lenses, one plain glass and one red glass, positioned at opposite ends of the lamp body. The lamp has a wire carrying handle.
