Women's pince-nez with gold plated rims and spring loaded brooch attachment, circa 1870-1900.
Description:
Eyeglasses with metal frame and glass lense, the bridge of the glasses is in the form of a spring. The glasses are connected to a round black coloured brooch with a gold coloured metal chain . Inside the brooch is a spring winding system which contracts the chain when required.
