- Summary:
- Copper Halfpenny Token, minted by W.J. Taylor, London. Issued by Lewis Abrahams, Drapers, Hobart, Tasmania, 1855. Lewis Abrahams was certainly living in Hobart Town in 1835, records show that he was in partnership with a H.C. Davis in Liverpool Street. He was married in the Jewish Synagogue in December 1855.
