hi i live in merton victoria and found a medal that matches this description in my paddock, just wondered what and why it was givin out for or did u have to buy it? really intrested to find out any info that you have and if u have pic of this so i can make sure it is the right one, thanks heaps jen

just reading the comments above as i have found a 1923 show medal too at harden n.s.w.
i am a bottle collector and have dug up this medal,along with many other items like enamel signs ,dolls parts,lamp bases.all lost or thrown out from many years ago. this dump dates 1920 -1935.
have searched similar medals on ebay for sale too.
