Other Details: Unissued Horsham & Wimmera District Pastoral & Agricultural Society medal specimen from the reference collection of the Melbourne Mint. The obverse die was cut by Julius Hogarth and reverse die by Thomas Stokes. This example has a larger diameter than the normal medal. The Society supported the development of farming practices and community relationships in the Wimmera region. - Description:
- An unissued bronze prize medal (46 mm diameter) Featuring a rural scene with horse, bull, sheep, plough, grape vines etc. together with details of the issuing Society and space for engraving details of a winner within a wreath of fruit, grape vines and wheat.
