Description:
A silver coin (28 mm diameter with milled edge) featuring on the obverse a laureate bust of Elizabeth II facing right; around, ELIZABETH II . DEI . GRATIA . REGINA . F:D: +
The reverse features a lion and a kangaroo standing together on a curved ground line facing right, around above, AUSTRALIA FLORIN; below in exergue, 1954. The artist's initials WLB in the ground below the front foot of the lion.
