Summary:
Copper One Penny Token, minted by an unknown British mint. Issued by H. Lipscombe, Seedsman & Produce Salesman, Hobart, circa 1860. Henry Lipscombe arrived in Hobart Town as a free settler on 16 January 1838, from London. He established a prosperous seed and plant nursery in King Street, Sandy Bay. As well as a retail shop in the town itself.

Description:
A round copper token (34 mm diameter) featuring the name, address and business of the issuer: H. Lipscombe, Murray St. Hobart Town, seedsman, salesman and shipping supply agent. It features a bouquet of produce that includes grapes, apples, pears, mellon and pineapple.
