Summary:
Wooden test tube rack, capacity 48 small test tubes. Used in flocculation testing. Primarily a blood test. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria.
Description:
Oblong wooden test tube rack, made from three horizontal membes and two vertical. Top two levels contain 48 holes dispersed in a 4x12 pattern. Bottom rack (base) has hemispherical indents for rounded bottoms of test tubes.
Top bears much masking tape and cloth tape with handwritten numbers left over from labelling the locations of test tubes.
