- Animal autopsy dissection kit in custom made case, including scalpels, mallet, files, saws and needles. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria.
- Description:
- Oblong brown leather-covered box, lined with purple velvet.
Contains 12 instruments, including: Three suture needles (curved). Three scalpels with wooden handles. A large, heavy knife with rounded blade. A mallet. A saw, with removable blade and handle. Two files with flared chisel ends.
There is room in the box for other instruments, such as foreceps. - Acquisition Information:
