Microscope Slides Set - Pathology, Boxed, circa 1930 Object Reg. No: HT 3244

Microscope slide storage box, belonging to H. Marriott and FT Wheatland, about 1930. The slides are pathology samples, and are individually numbered. Slides prepared at Australian Institute of Tropical Med, Townsville Qld. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria.
Black, cloth-bound oblong box, with detachable lid and one side hinged. Manufactured by Felton Grimwade & Co., Melbourne and signed inside by F. T. Wheatland. Individual cards inside each support six glass slides, each individually numbered and marked H. Marriott. A total of 14 cards, comprising 13 from H. Marriott and one from F. T. Wheatland.
