Summary:
Half Wellington Boot worn by a soldier in the Victoria Engineers, circa 1893.
Description:
Left boot. Black leather upper and sole. Heel nailed on, with additional outstanding nails to create hobnail effect. Stiffened woven fabric above ankle with tan leather border. Maker's mark stamped onto leather lining of boot.
