Summary:
Analytical balance, Becker, USA. Two pans that are not damped. For the nearest 10 mgm, fractional weights were needed. The nearest 1 mgm was found by using a rider weight along the beam. The pointer is viewed thru a magnifier. A late 19th century to early 20th century design. Purchase date unknown. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria

I have a 1910 Christian Becker 1A Analytical balance in super condition with the cover
can you ballpark it's worth I see you don't really do that however I need to put a value on it for my insurance and I could use the input Thanks Mike Chicago
