Photograph of John R. Duigan's pilot's certificates. Top is certificate of Royal Aero Club in the UK (No. 211) awarded to J.R. Duigan on 30 April 1912 after he completed his flying test on 20 April 1912 at Brooklands. Bottom is a military certificate issued at Point Cook, Victoria on 31 May 1916 after he joined the Australian Flying Corps. This day was also his 34th birthday.
