- Accident at Keilor Plains, 17 February 1913. This is the second aeroplane built by John & Reg Duigan. It was a modified version of an Avro design purchased an flown in the UK by John Duigan in 1911-12. The engine from this machine as well as some airframe parts were brought back to Melbourne in late 1912 and this biplane was built by the Duigan brothers at their parent's house in Marshall Street, Ivanhoe. It crash during its first test flights at Keilor on 17 February 1913 injuring John Duigan. Lack of adequate lateral control was blamed as the machine had wing warping not ailerons.
