Magic lantern slide of George M Hammer's display at one of the 19th century French Exposition Universelle (International Exhibition). France held four International Exhibitions in the 19th century: 1867, 1878, 1889 and 1900.

George M Hammer were school and church furnishers, based at 370 Strand, London.
Standard format ( 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch) lantern slide, comprising a Black & white photographic image printed on glass.
Description Of Content:
A display cabinet containing models of houses and churches. Desks and chairs in front of case. Manufacturer's name and address printed on pyramids atop the display cabinet.
