This Lantern Slide depicts groups of people out and about in a winter setting, it is probably Lake Riessersee which was a popular skating venue and the location for the speed skating and ice hockey for the 1936 Winter Olympics.
Standard format (3¼ x 3¼ inch square) lantern slide, comprising black & white photograph printed on glass with black paper edging under a protective glass cover plate.
