- Small photograph of men in uniform posing with digging implements. They have been digging a trench; there are sandbags in the foreground of the photograph. The photograph a was taken in Egypt, 1915-1916, and is part of a collection of photographs belonging to Alfred Galbraith. Sapper Galbraith was in Egypt with the 2nd and 5th Division from December 1915 to June 1916, when the 5th Division sailed to France. He died in France on 15 July 1916.

- Small photograph of men in uniform posing with digging implements. They have been digging a trench; there are sandbags in the foreground of the photograph. One of the men is identified with a purple ink cross, and the caption on the reverse reads: Digging Trenches
The photograph a was taken in Egypt, 1915-1916, and is part of a collection of photographs belonging to Alfred Galbraith.
