Children's panorama magic lantern slide depicting five different nationalities, it was made circa 1860-1920. Each nationality, European, American, Pacific, Asian and Middle Eastern, is depicted in a stereotypical way. The European woman with her head dress, long sleeves and fitted bodice, the American man with a feathered headdress, the Pacific woman dark skinned with a necklace as the only dress we can see, the Asian man with a long moustache and coolie hat and the Middle Eastern woman with a head scarf, long sleeved blouse and smoking a pipe.
