Other Details: Medal issued in 1887 by the Town of Portland to celebrate the 50th jubilee of Queen Victoria's ascention to the throne. It names W.T. Pile as Mayor. Portland is regarded as the birthplace of Victoria. The Henty brothers, entrepreneur farmers and whalers, established the state's first permanent white settlement in Portland in 1834. It initially rivalled Melbourne, but developed slowly as a fishing port.

I have a medal (?) with Victoria & Albert on one side with Queen Victoria's 60th Year of Reign 1837to 1897. Reverse a Diamond Shape with Coat of Arms with a patterned circle a Crown above & Something below & Diamond Jubilee Australians Celebrate
appears to be copper Can you advise what this actually is
