This photo is of the area known as the "rock pools" at Rockpool Rd Mt Beauty (east branch of Kiewa River). There is a diving board in the background. This was a very popular spot where many locals learnt to swim before there was a swimming pool in Mt Beauty. The Upper Kiewa Landcare Group is currently undertaking work in the area as much of it has become overgrown by weeds, and in particular blackberries. It is great to have photos like this to see what the site looked like.
