My wife's ancestors set up a photographic studio called "Eaton Studio" or "Eaton Studios" at Narrabri and Gunnedah in northern NSW in about 1900-1910. (Prior to that they operated as Hamey Bros in Molong, central NSW). They produced photos and postcards. My gutfeel is that this photo was probably taken in northern NSW, but it might have been a postcard addressed to someone in Victoria. The family doesn't have any record that Eaton Studios every travelled outside NSW.
