This is looking NORTH, as the right hand branch of Stringers creek runs south into the main creek here.

One of the earliest photos of Walhalla looking north. Centre left is the Freemason's Lodge and below it the Forrester's Hall. The Junction Brewery is the large building in the lower right quarter of the photo.
