We lived at the store in 1969. The fire which destroyed the old shop and the house, not shown, occured on the 11th of July 1969. The library was attached to the store and it survived despite some damage. This structure was moved up the hill towards B'rat and placed behind the new grey brick home behind the new shop. Both the new shop and the new house were built a local builder named Bennett.
