I am intererested in whether the school was for Indigenous as well as other Australian children - and if you have any photos of the school?

Do you have any stories or photos of Hatches Creek from March 1942- October 1943, when about 500 Chinese men who had been evacuated from Nauru were brought in by the Australian Govt to mine wolfram for the war effort?

My husband and his family lived in Hatches during WW2 and his mother wrote of some of her experiences, however she had no photos. She mentioned some of the Chinese living there, and I have done some research inot this. I have visited there a couple of times and have some photos from the 1990's.
