Associated with 'Coath Cottage' at 9 Happy Valley, Ironbark,Bendigo, built circa 1860 associated with J H Goodwin in 1856 later owned by Richard John Coath, an early colonialist see death notice in the Argus 1926.

Coath Cottage Happy Valley Road Bendigo was built by my ggrandfather in 1857 and occupied by his widow until 1925 when she died and was sold by the estate.

Thanks for that information, Peter. Richard and Selina Coath were my great, great grandparents, so it is interesting to be able to find out these details about them.
