The photograph 'above' of a man standing on a load of bale is Jack Thomson, he is standing on a record load in 1923. I am typing his daughter's family history. Beryl Owen (nee Thomson) told me it was pulled by 15 horses and was loaded for the Balldale silos. Beryl tells me she also flew in Smithy's aeroplane with him flying and her sister May and brother Jim when Kingsford Smith visited Albury in 1928. It wasn't free they had to pay 7 pounds and six shillings (75c). Anyway, this photograph is of Beryl's father. Beryl is 93 years of age and still going strong. Please reply as I am sure she will be interested in any more photographs, she has the original of this one. Thank you.
