Further to Marcia's comment (1 May 2010), Annie (McEvoy) is my grand-aunt. The licence of The Bridge Hotel, Molesworth was transferred to Alfred Hipgrave from Metta Meyer at the Yea Court of Petty Sessions - Monday November 3 1902 (Yea Chronicle (Yea, Vic: 1891-1920), Thursday 6 November 1902 P.4)
In 1904, Alfred Hipgrave transferred the Licence to John Michael Hoban of Molesworth, Grazier on 18th. March 1904 (Yea Chronicle (Yea, Vic: 1891-1920), Thursday 24th. March 1904 P.2.
In 1909, Alfred Hipgrave was recorded on Legal document for my grandmother - Julia Wade (sister of Annie McEvoy) as being a hotelkeeper at Maryborough.
