Description Of Content:
Four draught horses pull a tumble scoop to make a branch channel through virgin mallee. Jack Cavanagh operates the tumble scoop and a second man assists. The tumble scoop has two long wooden handles connected to the scoop section that scraps out dirt to make the channel. The scoop is attached to the horses with ropes and chains.
