Men bagging grain and building a haystack. A Clayton & Shuttleworth thresher, driven by an Aveling & Porter compound twin cylinder traction engine, is being used. There is a bucket in front of the thresher. The men are wearing hats and trousers, and some are wearing vests. There is a ladder resting against a platfrom in front of the haystack.
