If this is the Timboon school the H could be for the blue team Heytesbury, red was Curdies, yellow was Poleworth and green was Corangamite.

There is no doubt that Sally is correct about the H and the other banner letters standing for the school house team names. The only error is in the spelling - P is for Polwarth.
