- Photograph taken at the dedication of a memorial on the 50th anniversary of the first flight of an Australian-built aeroplane by John & Reg Duigan at Mia Mia in Victoria. The memorial was designed by Reg's son Terence and features a DC-3 propeller on a basalt column. It was unveiled by Air Marshal Sir Richard Williams (left), the first military pilot trained in Australia. Three RAAF Winjeels from No.1 Flying Training School at Point Cook are seen overhead. Reg & Terence Duigan are on the right side of the memorial.
