Image taken by A.J. Campbell on a friends and family Christmas camping trip to Ferntree Gully in 1905. Description Of Content:
Three water-filters are suspended from a branch attached to a couple of trees. One man leans against a tree drinking from a mug while another, wearing a white apron and presumably the cook, appears to be filling a tin or, possibly, a water bag.
