- Image shows a group gathered to listen to a fire-side lecture by Donald MacDonald. It was taken by A.J. Campbell on a camping trip to Phillip Island with the Ornithology Union in November 1902. From a photograph album containing 181 black & white and sepia toned photographs taken by Archibald James Campbell, ornithologist, during field trips to various parts of Australia. One of two albums covering these trips [see also HT 15824].
