Booklet - Australian Citizenship Guidelines, Australian Citizenship Affirmation Pack, Department of Immigration, 2003 Reg. No: HT 4779 4
- Australian Citizenship Guidelines booklet which forms part of an Australian Citizenship Affirmation Pack issued by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs in 2003 as part of an Australian Government Initiative. The pack emphasises the need for Australian citizens to have a shared vision and commitment to the future of Australia, and highlights the common values and aspirations of Australian citizens. It represents the continued desire to encourage migrants to take out citizenship as well as a new trend towards affirmation - existing citizens reaffirming their national allegiances.
- Single sheet of paper, folded centrally to form four printed faces. The colour booklet contains written guidelines with supporting photographic features. The top half of the front cover is navy blue, the bottom half is white. Running across the centre of the page (horizontal orientation) are four small rectangular images one of which is the Australian flag (for example).
