Paper Ticket issued to the Cook family by the British Ministry of Transport, dated 17 June 1948. The ticket is for a journey on the SS Asturias between Southampton and Australia departing 9 July 1948.
Thin, paper ticket with printed black text. The front of the ticket details the Ship name, destination port, port of departure, names of travellers and fares etc. The reverse of the ticket contains the contractual rules and regulations associated with the use of the ticket as stipulated by the Ministry of Transport.
