Andrew Keith Jack, Antarctic Explorer (?-1966)

Andrew Keith Jack was a member of Shackleton's Imperial Trans Antarctic Expedition from 1914 to 1917. Mr Jack died on 26 September 1966, and bequeathed five diaries and a number of other artefacts connected to the Shackleton Expedition to the National Museum of Victoria.

The file mainly contains correspondence regarding the Jack diaries, with requests to view the diaries' contents. There are also lists with the exact effects received by the National Museum. Most of the items received were on indefinite loan to the Latrobe Library, in the State Library of Victoria.
