Pietranik, Wojciech, (1950-?), Australian

Pietranik migrated to Australia in 1985 and taught sculpture until 1989 when he became a designer and engraver at the Royal Australian Mint. He studied at the Rome School of Medallic Art under a Churchill Fellowship in 1992. He was the designer of the Sydney 2000 Olympic prize medals.

Pietranik was interviewed by Debra Taylor in the Weekend Australian Magazine, August 14-15, 2004. He designed the medals for the Paralympics in Australia.
