The entrance hall is one of 21 rooms in the dolls' house Pendle Hall. It was designed and decorated by Felicity Clemons over a forty year period, and each piece of furniture and fixture was handmade by her. She used books and magazines for inspiration, and to achieve a high level of accuracy in the design and execution of each item.

It is a medium sized room on the ground floor of the house, directly below the first floor landing. It is where family members and guests entered the house, and also gave access to the main staircase to the upper and lower levels.

On the right hand wall is an oval shaped wooden table, on which sits a bowl of pink flowers and two candlesticks, and a carved wooden hall carver chair. On the left hand side, against the side of the staircase, is a wooden high backed hall chair. Along the back wall is a wooden chest, and in the right hand corner is a wooden long cased grandfather clock.

There are three framed paintings on the wall, and a four armed metal candelabra hangs from the ceiling, surround a moulded plaster ceiling rose. On the front left hand wall is a door to the withdrawing room, while on the front right hand wall is a door to the dining room.

Against the right hand wall is a staircase to the first floor, which is covered with intricately decorated parquetry. It has a wooden banister held up by a number of turned wooden balusters. Half way up, along the back wall, is a landing, on the wall of which hangs two framed paintings, on either side of a long sash window, with a pair of woven cloth curtains, and a garden scene outside. At the end of the landing the staircase continues to the first floor.

The hall is populated with three dolls, including two older women and one older man.
