This site has been constructed by the staff of the Crustacea Laboratory, Museum Victoria, Melbourne, Australia. This laboratory is responsible for curation and research on the Museum's large collection of crustaceans. The collection is broadly representative of marine and freshwater environments in Southern Australia. The information presented here has been written by the Senior Curator Dr Gary Poore with help from Research Assistant Joanne Taylor. We are grateful to our photographer Michael Marmach for providing the images that inspired the production of this site.
