Systematics: Amphipoda Family Iphimediidae

Distinguishing Characters:
Iphimediid amphipods are usually highly ornamented with spikes and blades on most segments. This colourful species is about 4 mm long.

General Biology:
This undescribed species of Iphimedia lives among subtidal red algae.
