Tesseropora rosea


Systematics: Cirripedia Family Tetraclitidae


Distinguishing Characters:
There are four side plates forming a steep-sided conical barnacle, growing up to 12 mm high. The shell is pinkish.

Habitat and Distribution:
The species occurs only on shores moderately exposed to the waves. It lives high in the intertidal on southern mainland states.
