The Discovery Centre at Melbourne Museum

The Melbourne Museum Discovery Centre can answer questions about science, Australian history and Indigenous cultures.

With an extensive library, over 2000 reference specimens and knowledgeable staff, the Melbourne Museum Discovery Centre is the perfect place to work on a school project, have a mystery object identified or just find out something new.

The Melbourne Museum Discovery Centre is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm

The Discovery Centre at the Immigration Museum

The Immigration Discovery Centre specialises on immigration history in Australia, family history research and migrant community information.

Use our unique collection of resources focusing on genealogy, immigration and cross-cultural issues will assist you with both personal and general history research.

The Immigration Museum Discovery Centre is open Monday - Sunday from 10am to 4.30pm.
