Talking Difference

Talking Difference is a three-year online media project designed to facilitate dialogue about cultural difference and to promote diversity.

The project will:

  • facilitate discussion around the project themes and the creation of new works in film, sound, images and text through a series of digital media workshops for our Pilot Team.
  • facilitate the creation of new works in film, sound, images and text through a Fellowship for emerging new media artists.
  • provide online access to new digital works and a space online for creative engagement with the project’s themes.
  • create a Portable Studio which will travel all over Victoria offering more people a chance to take part in the conversation.

Keep up to date with the latest Talking Difference news, images and videos on the Talking Difference Blog.

Talking Difference is funded by VicHealth's Arts About Us program, which encourages dialogue about the benefits of cultural diversity and the harm caused by race-based discrimination
