Curator, History of Collections, Museum Victoria
Bec Carland is an historian specialising in cross-disciplinary projects that link the natural sciences and humanities. Bec is responsible for the Museum History Collection and the Expedition and Fieldwork Collections; she also co-curates the Scientific Art Collection. She has worked on a number of projects during her time at Museum Victoria including Caught and Coloured, Google Art, The Melbourne Story, the Victorian Bushfires Collection, the Hope (Macpherson) Black Collection and recently Collections Online. She is currently the Museum's Field Historian on the annual Bioscan series with Parks Victoria.
