Case Studies |
Case studies Museum Victoria holds a small collection of material from the First World War. Most of this collection was donated to the Museum from the Victorian branch of the Returned Services League about 1984. It includes objects and papers that some soldiers and nurses treasured and brought home to their families, and some things which were sent home after the soldier's death in action. On-going research on items in the collection has highlighted the memories and belongings of some of these people. The case studies show the stories, and some missing details, which may be revealed by such material.
