Toys and games

This unit consists of teacher support materials and student resources to facilitate delivery of the Australian Curriculum: History for early years.

These resources support the implementation of ICT in the classroom for the teaching of early years history. They are designed to be flexible in their use, adaptable for different devices and purposes. 

Teacher Support

Student Resources

  •  Thumbnail My Grandmother’s Toy Box This is a story about toys used by several generations of a family.
  • Thumbnail Australian Toys Toys from the museum's collection are used to explore continuity and change.
  • Toys Now and The Thumbnail Toys Now and Then Children sequence images of toys from the My Grandmother's Toy Box story.
