Bunjilaka the Aboriginal Centre at Melbourne Museum, presents exhibitions focused on contemporary times together with their historical context.

Etched on Bark 1854 - Kulin barks from northern Victoria (Bunjilaka, March - June 2004) presented the earliest surviving Indigenous bark etchings from Australia, made in 1854 on a station near present-day Boort. A description of these works and their history is included in the exhibition information sheet (pdf 112kb).
