Fijian artefacts, and their traditional uses, provide glimpses of ancient Pacific cultures and Fiji’s fascinating past. In this collaborative project, images of artefacts selected from Museum Victoria’s collection are linked with notes on their uses. Contextual photographs primarily from the Fiji Museum collection add cultural and historical meaning to the objects.
