White Moth on Leaf
Many moths are found in the forest but most of the adults are nocturnal, resting during the day on bark, under foliage and amongst ground litter. This geometrid moth or 'looper' is an example of one of the many species in this group that often have cryptic colouration, making them difficult to distinguish from their background. |
